Our Beliefs
Our Beliefs At Reverence Church, we are committed to preaching the true and unfiltered Word of God. We believe in a deep, authentic relationship with Jesus, holiness through transformation, and a return to the faith once delivered to the apostles.
Jesus is God
Jesus is the One True God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the fullness of God in bodily form (Colossians 2:9). He is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—not three separate persons, but one God revealed in different ways (Isaiah 9:6, John 14:9, 2 Corinthians 3:17).
Salvation
Salvation is Through Jesus Alone. We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). True faith leads to repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and a transformed life (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-4).
Sanctification
Sanctification is a Lifelong Process. Holiness is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process as we are conformed to Christ (Romans 12:1-2, 2 Corinthians 7:1). We are called to be set apart from the world, living in obedience to Jesus (1 Peter 1:15-16).
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit Works in Believers. The Holy Spirit is Jesus dwelling in us (John 14:16-18). He leads, convicts, and empowers us to live holy lives (Romans 8:9-11). Speaking in tongues is a biblical gift, but not a requirement for salvation (1 Corinthians 14:5, 1 Corinthians 12:30).
The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ. We believe in a gathering of true believers, not a religious system (Acts 2:42-47). The church is called to make disciples, preach the gospel, and minister to the broken (Matthew 28:19, Luke 4:18).
Jesus Coming Again
Jesus is Coming Again. We believe that Jesus will return to establish His kingdom, fulfilling all things in His perfect timing (Revelation 22:12, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28). Until then, we are called to advance His kingdom on earth (Matthew 6:10).
